Hi you all!
My name is Marjo and AYK is my best friend. Recently she turned 50 and I had no idea what to give her. As you already could see on the site she's very creative, so I had to come up with something that had to do with miniatures.
I've been pondering for months about what to make her. And just 4 weeks before her birthday I found a gold-painted key-box among the garbage (not mine). At that moment the idea was born: it was going to be an oriental temple! Then I had to race the clock; a battle I just nearly won.

Let's check where I am now and what to do next. This is my first time ever to make something like this, so everything is completely new. I never thought this project would become such a hell of a job! And I haven't even gotten to the lights yet.....(deep sigh) |

| This is what it's supposed to look like! Now I have to glue everything in place, connect the bulbs and mount the console with Velcro to the box. That way the bulbs can be replaced if necessary. |

Luckily my temple turned out to be a big success! Immediately it got its own special spot on the wall. |

For me this was the first time I tried to familiarize with miniatures and square but fair: it was NOT easy. But at the same time I loved doing it. Even so much that I started my own (little) doll's house! Lovely addictive!
