June 2011 : The start of a fresh miniature! This is supposed to become a terrace garden at the waterside. With ponds and lots of flowers and plants. I haven't come up with anything else yet. I'll just see where it takes me.But one thing is for sure: you start with an empty box.....

.....which you give terraces and a rear. Again, also these little bricks are real.
The stairs are woodblocks which I glued together and gave a little dark varnish.

We're a few days later and things are getting shape. At the right I started building the ponds and planters.
The landing-stage now is painted and has poles to rest on.
And of course, with such a garden you need fancy fences.

There, a little varnish works miracles.The first plants are there and the pond has a basis. Even the water is already flowing......

Added some flowers and created a little tree.

Meanwhile we're halfway July and this is the result so far. The ponds are filled with water which now comes from three pipes instead of just one. I made lights, added more color and threw some junk in the water under the landing-stage. just like in real life, sad enough....

So, a little aupdate. We're halfway august by now and I started working on the right side. I still haven't got a clue on how to go from here (as before). But it'll come.......

You had to wait a little, but I hope it's worth your while. Most of the lights are in their place and I'm almost done with the flowers and plants. The jetty needs some further pimping, a few more plants will be added, the furniture gets some styling and then I'll start working on the figures. I'll keep you posted!
